SIGN UP FOR KEEP McINTOSH BEAUTIFUL’S ANNUAL GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP™ PROGRAM

Keep McIntosh Beautiful is one of the more than 600 Keep America Beautiful community-based affiliates around the country taking part in KAB’s Great American Cleanup, which kicks off annually every March.  Now in its 20^th year, this initiative engages more than five million volunteers in more than 20,000 communities to create a positive and lasting impact and is the county’s largest community improvement program.  This year continues the theme of “Clean Your Block Party.”

 – VOLUNTEER  with the GAC activities listed on the EVENTS CALENDAR

 – ORGANIZE a “Spring Cleaning,” beautification or improvement project on your own block, street or neighborhood with friends, neighbors, at work, or with a church or school group.   Find great ideas and a guide to organize your project the links are below.

 – TELL US what you’re doing to help keep Darien and McIntosh County clean, green and beautiful! To register your project and to ask for additional volunteers or other help on our Facebook page,  send your project to:  director@keepmcintoshbeautiful.com   or call Tracy at  912-289-1083.  Please include:  name of project, location and date, brief description of what you are doing, organizer/contact person with email and phone number, and if you need additional volunteers and how many.
